In 1991, Ann and Mary developed the format for the Color Sense seminar. It has proven to be a learning process that has helped many down a proper path towards the Society of Decorative Painter's Certification program. It has been copied by others but the original is still the best.
Two line drawings are sent four months prior to the seminar: one is a still life and the other is a floral design. The student may choose to paint one or both of the drawings to the best of their ability. The unvarnished painting(s) are brought to the class. This exercise in independent study helps to reveal the strengths and weaknesses of the student. All subsequent instructions are given to guide each student into making positive changes. The seminar is programmed to present challenges that will result in methods to help make these choices easier.
All levels of painters and are welcome. Students may paint in the medium of their choice since the instructions are universal.
Join us for this exciting enrichment program that will help you to go to the next level.
